How to fix interior problems

I just bought my 09 as a dealer demo and the dealer had installed a carbon fibre look on the dash. I am assuming that the problems in the photos are from that installation, but I don't know for sure. I hate seeing these things on the dash, does anyone have any idea on how to fix these?

Check youtube for some dashboard crack videos

I forgot the link but the general idea of the video is:

1. Use a dashboard repair kit plasticine or something similar and get an impression of the dashboard texture by pressing on a non-damaged surface.

2. Apply the putty/resin that comes with the kit and then gently take the plasticine from (1) and press gently on filled part.

3. Airbrush texture paint to the spots.
