Why is it, when you disconnect the battery or unplug the window up/down switch unit, the auto up and down doesn't work? Some how, I manage to get it to work. I don't know if to get it to work is powering them on or off or moving the switch x times.
Anyone know the details behind this? I'd like to know the official way to activate it again.

Yea they made it very well IMO. Even if you do not know the real procedure for making them work you just fiddle with them for a second and you can get it.
I will update this when I find the actual procedure but I think it is just all the way down and all the way up like Junirol said.
LOL .... i just had the same problem with mine .... glad i caught this
