Removal of chrome strips below fogs

I want to remove the chrome strips below the fogs on the 2010 GT. It appears that there's a couple retainers on the left and right side. Anyone ever pull them off? Do I have to remove the front? I want to paint them black and figured it might be easier to remove them to paint than frog taping them and painting on the car.

You have to remove the front bumper. There are 2 screws that hold the strip on and the only way to get to them is by taking the front bumper off.

Just pull on the black trim below the fog, comes right out

Thanks folks. Yep, I pulled it off last night. Two snaps and done. Will post a pic of the process in a couple weeks when I get a chance to paint them up.
