ASH8, I am looking for the RH tail light. Can just the clear lens be replaced or is it the whole assembly? I think I found the P/N for the assembly but want to double check: 51-150G-FF14

Also, any sites that have them at a discount would be great.

Thanks.....

For US (NA) ONLY S2 LED Tail Lights..

FF14-51-170F Lens and Body RHR (Basically without Globes/Holders and is slightly cheaper than assembly).
FF14-51-180F Lens and Body LHR

FF14-51-150G Tail Lamp Assembly RHR

2004 North American GT manual.

I'm looking for the part number to a rear right wheel well inner sheet metal, it fits between the fender quarter FEY270410A and the liner and runs along the full wheel flange. Information I can find a possible number of F15170115B but I cant tell if its the correct part.
Thanks if you can help

Hello..

The FEY2-70-410A is the OUTER Rear RH 1/4 Panel, and is not what you need.

The actual RH WHEEL Arch steel panel by itself is F151-70-115B.

The F151-70-100T is the COMPLETE RH Inner 1/4 Panel and includes (F151-70-115B) the Wheel Arch.

In this instance same RH 1/4 Panels for ALL Series RX-8's.

Helloo
i think i might need a coolant bottle , did the coolant flush and cleaned bottle out light comes on with regular driving around 4k rpm in 6 gear.
vin is JM1FE173140138623
2004 6spd GT

also would like to know if theres a new part for the sunvisor as both my passenger and driver side snapped in half when i tried to bring it down....

also need the undertray with the uprights and the clips that hold them together as its all torn and beat up and is it worth investing into a aluminum tray?

thanks in advance :D

Hi ...

And MANY, MANY Thanks for your VIN #, it make is so much more easier for interpretation and making certain you get the correct parts, particularly when 'trim' and interior or coloured parts are concerned.

Your Coolant Bottle, well you have a very early one, I personally would go for the complete unit with cap, bottle and sensor.
N3H1-15-350M Coolant Tank/Bottle Assembly with everything, it is the most expensive...or
N3H1-15-351G Coolant Tank/Bottle with Sensor, but N0 pressure Cap, and no lower Hose, it is a lot cheaper.

I would talk to Paul at Mazmart, he is a great guy, forum sponsor and is currently running a special on Genuine Coolant Bottles for RX-8....tell Paul I (ASH8) sent you to him and he will look after you...
Mazmart Shopping Cart

Your Sun Visors..not cheap..very expensive, again ask Paul, he may have a good price for you.
FE01-69-270G77 Visor Right
FE01-69-320G77 Visor Left

I take it you are talking about the Oil Pan Cover under engine (Black Plastic)??
If so..here is the #..
F151-56-110D Under Cover, about $140

Aluminum ones (Series II's) are not for Series I and are very expensive and won't fit.
If you are talking an after market unit, again talk to Paul, his vast US contacts would know of what you are after...IF the price is right.

One thing I omitted about your Sun Visors, you were not specific enough on what broke..separate to the Visor's itself are the two small 'lock in clips' or holders, which stay attached to the roof alone and don't swing or move..what the Visor clicks into.

These sometimes crack or break..and are only about $3.00 each.
LC62-69-261B77 Holder

BTW: A little bit of Mazda Parts trivia, these exact same Visor Clip Holders were first used back in 1999 on Mazda E Series Vans/Truck's and used in
Mazda 2, 3, 5 and 6, CX-7 and CX-9, T Series Trucks, MPV, and Premacy.

No internal parts of visors are available from Mazda...you have to purchase the complete unit.

I am guessing you 'broke' the suspension linkages in that area, well there are around 5 long Ball jointed rods or links, you then have the
expensive "alloy" HUB where all these suspension links meet and joint via these Ball Joints.

A brilliant suspension set up for it's simplicity and ride/handling, weight...Rear Bearing and Brake Disk are installed here too.

IMO the best multi- link rear set up ever made by a mass producer.

If any of these Rods have a bend or are damaged you must renew them, don't try and repair or straighten.

Panel (inner wheel well arch) damaged would have to be assessed for repair.
So too should be the black rear steel sub-frame where ALL of these linkages fix to at their 'other' ends.

Anyway..here are EPC Parts Pics or Sketches, it is what ALL Mazda Dealers use to identify what parts and part numbers are for your RX-8.

also the the panel in the wheel well is a plastic panel attached to part 5390 but I don't see it in the pics...

The 5390 is just the Felt Liner...all the panels (Metal have been shown above).

Unfortunately "the plastic that goes behind the silver door handle" is not what I was looking for lol ... though it is in the same immediate area ... let me explaine better, would you know the "red" led light that illuminates the door handle ? The piece I'm looking for is the plastic trim that covers / goes around that LED .. thank you, and sorry for the confusion

Yes, I thought it was somewhat strange when you asked about LED illumination of inside LH DOOR HANDLE.

Anyway...

Is this what you are asking about?...LED illuminates Window/Mirror Switches not Door Handle.

For LHD and LEFT Front Door, this part goes under LED (appears) Case.

FE01-66-110 Case LED.. LH Side
F151-66-110 Case LED...RH Side

Thank you very much for your help.. I really appreciate having a place like this to go to get answers and help...Fortunately, this morning, I called up my local Mazda dealer, they had one and scooped up the part this morning.

The part I'm looking for is the inner splash guard inside the rear left wheel well but it's actually a plastic part of the rear bumper...
I also damaged the fuel tank protection...can you help me?

M8, I don't have the time to remember every user/member here...

It would be much easier to put some details about your car in a signature, go to User CP top left.

Or if you want me to I can do it for you.

Apart from that part # information is unchanged.

FF14-42-110A Fuel Tank...about $1500.00
F189-50-351B Shield LH $37.00

I thought I could have changed only the metal fuel tank protector! $1500 it's way too much!
Another question..
I would like my GT to look like an R3..I like the front bumper and side skirts but not the rear spoiler...
considering that my front grille is broken can you tell what front bumper parts will I need to transform it into an R3? also codes for side skirts?

VIN JM1FE174990402302
thank you

R3 Front Bumper Parts

Around $1600 For the parts, plus the painting of Bumper...
OEM Replacement Bumpers are not finished (Painted) for Mazda's export Distributors..

You could contact Paul at Mazmart, he was doing a special purchase of R3 Front Bumpers direct from Japan and Mazda painted...it might be too late though.??

On top of the Bumper ONLY you also need to purchase the 3 piece LOWER Air Splitters, plus a few other bits and pieces...these are around $700 total approx...which give the $1600 total.

If you really want me to list all the Mazda Part numbers let me know.

Your paint code is 27A..Velocity Red

FF14-50-1T1B Grille, about $40
F197-51-P40A-87 Side Skirt RH Velocity Red $620
F197-51-P50A-87 Side Skirt LH Velocity Red $620

So $1200, just for the R3 side skirts which ARE factory painted.

These are current prices, you may find sellers/dealers who are cheaper who have old stocks.

well the price is high...but it's also the only kit that i like...
I could skip on the side skirts and get them non OEM...
I live in italy but maybe I can find the parts in UK..
If you can please list all the front bumper parts numbers that I will need...
