i was pondering the idea if it was possible to some how to install angel eyes around our projector front, If you look closely there is a cap around the the projector. Perhaps it is posible to install angel eyes and wire them to the parking lights. Anyone else think of this. Or even if its possible?

dude you mess it up i hope you got lots of money to buy new lights......go search the aftermarket body kit section on this......trust me before you spend your money
These are sold specifically for the RX-8 headlights. Unfortunately I can't find an American Supplier. Might be the best bet if you are willing to spend the money.
just be very careful when you bake ur headlights. accord ppl do it all the time and it looks great, just be very careful.

oh man, this isn't going to go well. Crunk, listen to Chris; be VERY careful with those headlights. You're talking about putting over $1,000 worth of headlamps in the OVEN.
I baked my alero headlights, used the lowest setting and checked them every 5 minutes. They will hold up better than you think, and just used a good quality silicone to seal them back up. Make sure you seal them well or you WILL get condesation in your headlights!
I actually succeeded on taking the whole housing apart with a heater gun for about 20 minutes... and the headlights were from my 8 when it was in a hit and run accident =/... came in handy thats for sure lol...
Yea just bake the headlight around 150c in your oven make sure your oven door is open. And check it quite often. I was going to make my headlight angel eye but I decided not do it because of my country road rule.
i don;t know if this helps but here is some picture of the Dissembled headlights http://s163.photobucket.com/albums/t...inrt/?start=40

I baked open my headlights on my RSX to paint the reflectors. I used the lowest setting on the oven, then the heat gun for any of the tabs that were still stiff. I can't comment on the longevity of the mod since the headlights and the rest of the car were scrapped after meeting a telephone pole at 60mph
Also a friend of mine had angel eyes professionally installed on his R1 and they had to re-install them 3 times because the rings kept breaking. Both physically and electrically. They couldn't take the vibrations. He finally had them take them out.
i just did my friends headlights.. why is everyone so **** about the 8;s headlights...? is there something that makes these different then baking other cars headlights?
