After a successful DIY install of LS2 coils in my car, I figured I would document a DIY to create one of the most important parts of the install, the LS2 spark plug wires.

The first thing you want to do here is get yourself familiar with the makeup of the wires. These particular wires are spiral core, so to someone unfamiliar with the wire, you may assume that the core itself is the wire's shielding.
Here is a little image to show you exactly what the wire looks like on the inside.
Step 1: Strip about a little less than 1/4" off of the wire
Step 2: Fold back the core, and place your boot contact on
Step 3: Crimp the contact against the wire
Step 4: Examine the contact to ensure quality crimp

Step 5: Grab a can of wd40, and spray the inside of the coil/plug boot
Step 6: Once sprayed, slide the end in all the way through
Step 7: Do the same for the other side
Step 8: Complete the other wires
As you can see, I used the same length for each of my wires which was 16.5". This gave me enough room and ensured that I could get a perfect connection to each plug.

I remember reading somewhere in the manual that when checking the OE wires, different specs were related to the shorter ones vs the longer ones. Does making 4 equal ones make a difference ?
