RB Race Exhaust

Has anyone on here installed a Racing Beat Race Exhaust on their S2?
I lightly searched through the posts and didnt really find to many posts of people using it. I just ordered mine and am excited to install it!!!
I know mostly people like getting exhaust that looks and sounds a little "cooler" than stock ( Per their Personal Preference )... I like clean/cool looking exhaust, but from what I hear, new systems are usually a little heavier than stock and you a pay a more for looks/brand than anything else...lets face it, your not gonna really get much HP unless your running straight pipes.

Anyways....I just wanted to see what everyone thought about the RB Race Exhaust....

also, one more...how much it weighs...because i was looking to replace my hks hipower...but only if the rb race exhaust is lighter. Unfortunately, i never did find the exact weight of the rb race exhaust.

Nope. This will be my first. I will probably buy a HF Cat and/or straight pipe jus for track days, but I figure that will be way too loud for DD. Im sure this Race Exhaust is going to attract enough attention as it is...hopefully not the hatter type or the five-o type lol

I just sold my HKS Hi-Power. I kind of regret it. I would definitely like to know how this sounds.

I would never buy any rip off **** from race roots. How would you feel if you spent money designing something and then someone else just copied the entire thing and then sold them for cheaper? I know knock offs happen but it still kind of sucks when stuff is just blatantly copied. I sold the HKS because I just wanted something different but now I am torn as to what to get. I am leaning toward the Racing Beat race and then doing something with the exhaust shrouds. But that may be a pain in the *** so I dunno

i love my hks...but i fear that with my header and street port...slapping my racepipe will be raspy. If the RB race exhaust is really deep, then i might consider it.

my exoticspeed race pipe has a metal bottle resonator, the thing is retarded light. So i wont spend $450 for a pipe i only use sparingly.

hopefully the op's future video will help out.

No worries The HKS ti is sick. I really want ti tips so I am debating. I just don't want to spend a grand on a catback. I have access to a used TurboXS and I found ti tips from Ractive for $100.00. So I am thinking of getting the TurboXS and having the ti tips put on.

Lets put it this way... RB's Race Exhaust is a Race Exhaust... There are no tips on this exhaust. It runs off the side of the muffler.

I have heard RB's Race Exhaust and its way too loud for me

I cant wait to hear my 8 screamin...
I'll try and remember to do a before and after recording.
From what Ive heard, the RB Race Exhaust doesnt really get loud unless you really lay into the throttle, but that dependent on driving characteristics....I have the tendency to drive "aggressively", so people are definitely gonna hear me coming I guess.... HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

I want to say I recall the Racing Beat Race Exhaust coming at a few lbs heavier than the HKS hi-power (something like 23lbs V. 26lbs?) though I could be wrong, this was quite some time back? I don't know if I would count on it being considerably lighter, though it may be worth shooting them an email.

The HKS Hi-Power is essentially the same thing - full 3" piping with a muffler with a tip on it. The only difference is the HKS exits the rear while the RB has a turndown.

I believe the HKS is a bit louder than the RB Race, at least this is how I remember it.

The RB Race is an exhaust I have always wanted to run, but haven't managed to get my hands on one. And 9K, it's funny you mention the Race Roots exhaust being cheaper; I've found, it's actually about the same as the HKS (or more expensive, depending where you live). HKS can be had for about $400 picked up from vendors around here while the Race Roots is about $400 + shipping.

Yeah I picked up my HKS for really cheap. I miss it I am installing the Turbo XS tonight.
