Injen cold air intake

Any1 ever cut the mesh screen out beforem the maf sensors on the injen c.a.i? Seems really restrictive but was not sure if it served a purpose

I see you are new here and I'm in a good mood

The screens are very important do not remove them.
Their purpose is to smooth the airflow out before the maf sensor (Mass Air Flow)

Now duck and run for cover, as others surely will not be as nice as I have.

Some people have removed the screen farthest away from the MAF but I figure they are both there for a reason and the people that made the car know more about it than me.

The RB Intake (I have one) only uses a single screen, operates perfectly fine.

Yea I think as long as you have the one you should be fine. With the stock intake though I have seen some posts about people trying to remove them.
