AP pulley on a 09 ?

I have searched the forum but cannot find an answer. I wanted to know if there was anyone running an AP pulley on thier 09 without issues? Just asking because I know there are several differences between the series 1 and series 2 models.

Thanks....just installed my MS intake two days ago and I'm itching to do something else. Gonna get a RB catback by summer. You sure didn't waist anytime adding mods to you car, most empressive list I must add. BTW did you have to reset the e-shaft by doing the brake and steering wheel thingy.I read we have to do something a little different.

The only difference in the pulleys is the Water Pump so if you buy a pulley kit keep that in mind. I think SRMotorsports has a complete kit for 09, while Unorthodox Racing does not; UR water pump does not fit.

I did not have to reset the ECU when I switched pulleys, though I have done it since I installed the pulleys because I have a header.

Why waste your money on a pulley? Don't just mod for the sake of modding.

No, I'm looking to get one cause it seemed to work well on the 05 GT I used to own. If I ever thought I was gonna end up buying an 09 I would have saved all the crap from the 05. Could have sold off the parts that didnt fit the 09 to buy newer mods. I always buy mods with a purpose in mind even if others feel the part(s) have no purpose at all. Anyway, what fun is having one of these cars if you don't slap a few mods on it. Makes me feel good to think I've added hp....lol

Ah, haha if it's for feeling then that is all you need. I just hate to see people buy things thinking they are going to get the advertised HP and then when they don't they feel like they got scammed.

Could not agree more...

Mazda modified the Pulleys on S2 along with both belts for a reason, and you want to change them back to "old" series??...for what benefit??...strange..
