2009 RX8 R3 Build
2009 RX8 R3 13,000 Miles
Nitrous Build:
Zex Black Out Kit. 55 shot hoping to go to a 75 shot
Zex Automatic Bottle Opener
2 Zex LED Purges. Purging out in the front one on each side by the oil coolers.
BHR Throttle Body Spacer
Zex Window Switch. Set as of now for 3500 to 8200 rpm.
Nano 3000 Sport System. For those who don’t now what the nano does it adds nitrogen pressure to the nitrous so you have a constant pressure throughout the whole time you are spraying. More power and more consistent.
Engine:
BHR Ignition Kit
AEM Cold Air Intake
Agency Power Under drive Crank Pulley
Turbo XS Cat Back and Mid Pipe
Racing Beat Header
Exterior:
10,000k HID Low Beams
3,000K HID Fogs
Red Pin Striped Wheels
Blacked Out Tails and Corners
15% Tint
Interior:
Red LED lights
Custom Lotek Gauge Pod
With PLX Wideband, Glow Shift NOS Pressure, Glow Shift Fuel Pressure
Suspension:
B&G Lowering Springs
That is it as of now. I am going to be at the track this Saturday for test and tune I will keep you posted. A lot of time and effort went into this build so far and it is not done yet. I need to thank Anthony C for being the brains behind it all. He put in many sleepless nights working and customizing. Even the gauge pod is a custom Lotek pod. All the new mods were wired to a new fuse panel under the center console. The next thing is to find a tuning option..... Not going so well as of now; been in talks with power mod. Any question e-mail or post. It has been a long process and it is not done. Here are some pics I took real quick i know they are bad but its from my old Iphone.

Lol Thank you for all the props! But you are right with tuning the car now being the issue; we will see how far it goes on Sat. It’s going to be hot and humid so I am hoping that we can get some early passes in. As long as the plx logger comes in, I will be able to get some A/F logs. To see when the high power injectors come online, I am almost sure that it is around 7500 in third. Powermod will hopefully come through after we get the tooth count on the eccentric shaft trigger ring. The old "Crank Sensor" is now superseded by the new part number. But the new crank pulley is not superseded by the old part. So if the trigger ring is the same, which it looks to be. Powermod may be a tuning solution for Series 2's. Idk If anyone needs it but I have ecu pin outs for 08-10. I have put them together like blue prints lol there are a few differences is 08-09 ECU. Thank you again for the props! We still have a long way to go --- knock light and sensor, management and some dyno time. But all that can come after this weekend lol. Well maybe a few weeks because after Sat, I am putting 284,282 cams in my brother in laws M3. Then hopefully long tubes, cam and a Procharger on my car. Then my wife wants her Si to sneeze lol. It is going to be a long winter.

We have it set up to spray from second gear on and from 3200 to 8200 so that when he let's out to shift there is no n2o left in the Uim greatly reducing any chance of an the dreaded "easy mod" lol.

The window switch only needs a power, ground, signal and tach/rpm. I can't remember what setting for cyl I have it on but you have to play with it lol. When it was first activated the window switch rpm was about 2k off the cars actual rpm. So we played with the settings and found one that worked and rolled with it.

I guess I will be placing an order then. I will have to figure it out. Window switches are great.

Lol na I'll keep mine atleast for a little bit. But best mod was the zex kit but if you don't want to go that route then the turbo xs cat pipe and mid pipe. Kinda loud set up though.

LoL Easy pushing it to the edge is what its all about.
I ran a new line from the hardlined supply to the fuel rail under the uim. Then I used the fitting that came in the zex kit and a brass tee. So I could put the Sending unit for the gauge and the zex fuel supply in the same place. I think that someone makes a adapter, so that all you would have to do is unhook your fuel line at the firewall, place the adapter inline, screw the sending unit in and your done without having to pull the uim.

I feel we have been dooped... This guy hasn't logged in, yes I checked, since 7/24. Such a mean joke, photoshoping a R3 to look like it was modded hottness. Only to hide under the mask or poor quality cell phone images to diffuse the alterations of the image. I think he is a spy!
