Currently running Michelin pilot super sport tires, 245 40s on stock wheels. My current plan is to lower on tein s techs with 25mm spacers. I want to be flush and obviously have no rub but could always roll the fenders if need be. I've read around and I know its worked but someone mentioned the Michelin PSS is wider that normal. Can anyone confirm or has anyone had this setup before? Thanks

So, I accidentally bought myself some rims.

F: 19x10.5 +15
R: 19x10.5 +15

The suspension is at the moment original. The car will probably not go any lower.
And I don't want to stretch. So 265+ would be ideal tyre. Toyo has only 275/40-18 for example.

But will they fit?

Is this the look you're going for?

There's a very obvious reason why a 275/40-18 won't fit your 19x10.5 +15...

Damn yeah, I just measured and so on.
Never mind the tyre, the rim itself won't never fit.. :/

NO.....especially with that size tire

Guys have got the 245-35-18's stretched on and if you can get about an inch out of the fender they will fit

18X 10.5 +43 will fit with 275-35-18 tires without too much work

I can see some minor modifications, but it doesn't seem impossible..?

Hey guys, thinking of a square setup of 18x9.5 with a +45 offset. Tires would be Bridgestone RE-11s that are 265/35/18. I'm lowered about 1.2 inches and camber is -1.2F and -1.6R. Mainly just concerned about the fronts.

Work Emotion T7R 18x9.5 +22 or +30 offset??? 245/40/R18 All around. Will Roll all fenders and have Tien coilovers flex installed all at the same time, trying to do this right.

What issues will I face?

Thanks,

What's up with everyone buying used wheels from Evo guys and expecting them to fit their RX-8?

The car will be on the ground and all the negative camber you can do. Then pull the fenders and grind away everything inside the fenders.

You need almost an inch at the rear fender to make those fit.....

The 30's will be easier. They will need a good roll and a bit of camber but they will fit fairly easily

The 22's you will need more work

You can get the 30's to fit with a roll and some camber easy enough.

The 38's with 245 tires will likely fit without much work at all....265 or 275's will likely need a bit of a roll

I'm stuck on going with 18s or 19s. I figure if I go 19s I have to go for a higher offset, I'm not sure though, can I do 19s et 30??

If your offset gets smaller it gets more difficult to get them to fit. Going to a 19 makes them harder to fit as well...so a bit higher offset will fit easier....so closer to 40 in a 9.5

So im trying to achieve the flushed look on my 8 and i was wondering if yall can give me some insight on how to achieve that or if even possible with my current wheels. Im giessing ill need spacers but anyway my wheel specs are 18x8.75 +36 rear and 18x8.75 +22 front. My current tires are sized 235/40/18 front and back, theyre about to get replaced so if theres any suggestions as to going with another size please do so. I have coilovers on the way fyi. Thanks for any input

Why the different offsets?

The rears should fit no problem, the fronts should as well with that sized tires...but the rears will be inset more than the front.....basically by about 1/2 inch.

Likely a big roll and a 1/2 inch spacer on the rear should fit and make the front and back the same
