Advice?

Would 18x8 +40mm offset fit on all four hubs without nipping my fenders? Just looking for wheels the same size as the stock so I can fit my old tires on them and not have to modify the bodywork.

@ZeusRotor
Yes. People run 25 mm spacers on stock wheels (18x8) so up to +25 offset is verified to work on OEM suspension.

I also have a question for the forum regarding some new wheel options:
I'm looking at a set of TSW Nurburgrings in 19" with the intent of running Hankook V12 245/35R19 tires. I'm currently on stock suspension, but may run coilovers in the future, with minimal drop (maybe ~0.8").

These are my options:
8" width, offset +35
8.5" width, offsets of +20 or +45 (but nothing in between!)
9" width, offset +32

This results in an outer position extension by +15, +36.35, +11.35, and +30.70 mm, respectively.

I know 245s will fit on the 8.0 width, but will the sidewall flex a lot because it's squeezed onto a "narrow" wheel?
On the 8.5, is the +20 a safe fit without fender roll? Or play it safe with +45?
Or 9" fits perfectly and stop whining about the extra weight?

Thanks in advance for the input, y'alls.

9" fits perfectly and you won't notice the extra weight. That's what she said

Anybody know if TRMotorsport FF10 17x9 ET45 fit over the front brakes?

I've read the same wheel in 17x8 ET45 fits.
Also, the Enkei RPF1 17x9 ET45 fit and the only difference in the listed specs is backspacing (6.65" for RPF1, 6.77" for FF10). I figure if it's just a matter of the backspacing, a 3-5 mm spacer will take care of that.

The TireRack rep I spoke to was skeptical thinking that the wheel would rub at ET45.

Rear will likely rub the fenders especially with load.
Wondering what are you trying to achieve with such wide tires?

No reason to have same wheels front to back and then tires that don't let you rotate them anymore. 265s just slow you down. That being said, I have 265s all around just for ***** and giggles.

Front 17x9 +40mm
Rear 17x9 +40mm

will 17x9 +40mm with 255/40/17 NT-01 tires fit without rubbing on the stock suspension S2 car?

Should be OK As long as you have brake clearance. You can get a 9.5+35 to fit with most tires so that should be really safe

The fronts will be inset too much...you would be better off with a smaller offset....around +25 or so with a 8" wheel. Why not run the same wheels front and back?

Rears will be good.....they should fit with no drama

Sidebar: why? (self-reflection)
If you have non-staggered tires already purchased, why stagger wheels? You just lose the ability to rotate tires. I only question your choice because you said you're new to this, so I'm not sure if you know what you're doing and why. If you do know what you're doing, then carry on and don't let no man tell you how to live your life.

Back to your question:
8" width +35 offset will fit no problem.

It's possible the inner clearance will be tight with a +50 offset for a 9" width. You'll have 12.7 mm less (learn how to use the tire calculator on this site, if you don't already). I would suggest you're better off finding a smaller offset around +35 to +45 so you're closer to stock inner clearance, if that's an option. Unless someone else can say more definitively that +50 on 9" is no problem (or you read back in this thread to find confirmation that it fits).

Im looking into a set of wheels and tires. 18x9.5 +27. 245/40/18. Im looking to achieve the most flush look with out poke or rubbing. The car currently sits on Tein S. Tech, but will be replaced by Tein Basis coilover asap. Will it fit with no modifications? Im currently on 18x9.5 +15 MB Battles. I love the wheels but the poke makes me want to beat my head into the ground. It also rubs slightly after roling the fenders and using a 225/45/18 (I know, that size is terrible, but that's why im here. to fix that)
I hate the sunk in look, and I also have no desire for the look of a high offset wheel. The car is used in competition, so it will need to work well too. If im off on this, what would be the best wheel/tire combo to suit my needs?

If you have already rolled the crap out of the fenders they will fit.....18x9.5 +35 fits wit a normal roll...so 6mm difference is about 1/4 inch.....five or take 😎

Thanks for the help man honestly i just bought the tires not even a month ago and didnt think about the wheel size i was gonna get but yeah i want to go with the staggered look might consider just going the same size upfront all around but i want the wheel to be a little closer to the fenders
