I apologize that this is a bit off topic but I didn't want to start a new thread.

Tried searching. Since I've now pretty much narrowed down the type and size of wheels/tires (a few posts up ^^^ ), has anyone had any experience specifically dealing with execstudio.com? $1,360 for a full set if I'm doing my math right on their website but I emailed them on Friday and haven't gotten a response yet. I didn't expect to hear from them over the weekend as I assumed they were closed, but I thought I might have heard something by now.

If not them, any recommendations?

*please delete this post if I have overstepped with this question. Thanks!

Justin

18x10 +38 255/38/18 Nankang

Lowered about an inch on unknown springs.
The rear will likely rub if you are loaded at the back. Hit a bump and turning at plaza ramps.

They will rub. You will have about 3/4 inch to figure out depending on tire size

would i have to get a greater or smaller offset? or is it because 9.5 is just too wide?

Thanks fellas. If I roll the rears a little will I be OK, or do you think it would still rub after a roll?

Hey all, looking for some quick advice please. Am trying to build a setup for autox and wanted to confirm if my plan will work.

17x8 +30 with 245/45 tires on stock suspension? I think that'll get me pretty close to flush but again, wanted to double check. Will it still clear everything and be ok on the track?

ok, thanks. Kind of new to the whole fitment thing (never had a car without stock wheels) so I wasn't sure. From what I can gather the lip should be in a similar place to a stock wheel with a 30mm spacer, so I found pics of that and figured I'd be good. Ordered the tires tonight, can't wait to hit the track again!

I can't imagine it would have any issues. I'm running 245/40-17 on 17x8 +45 for autocross and the car looks like it is in 4wd mode with all of the wheel gap.

You can roll and it will help a bit. However the rear has these black plastic fender liner bit that will cause problem with your set up. Wide wheels, Full tank of gas... rear passengers will cause your rear to sit lower. And you already lowered.

You can try running more negative camber or something.

Changed my mind on the wheels lol. Looking at niche surge 19x8.5 5x114.3 +35 offset 72.6 mm hub both front and back wheels. Not sure what the hub means; but want to make sure these will fit. Still set on going lower with ksport coilovers. If anyone knows if these will rub if im lowered, please respond and let me know how i can make these wheels work. Thanks!

Disregard my question. There a thread literally right under this one with the answer in the thread title itself. I have even read the damn thread before.

Is there a "dumbass" stamp I can put on my own forehead? Hah..

18x9.5 +12 225/45 **** coils, knock off wheels, obviously I went too low in the front, will raise it tomorrow and then go get it aligned, it rubs a little on a lot of things, loving the lack of grip and shitty handling, thanks for having me on the site.

The low rider look doesn't work for this car. It seems to make the wheel well look oversized in comparison to the wheels.... which are very pretty btw.

For the record. Installed the above yesterday and am very happy with the fit and look. Can't wait to hit the track again!

Has anyone tried this?

I was looking for wings/spoilers for my 2004 rx8 and this came up http://www.carid.com/duraflex/gt500-style-wing-trunk-lid-spoiler-mpn-109620.html?gclid=CKCIiOKlnM4CFQGRaQodZuwNkw now I know it's for frs/brz/gt-86 but has anyone tried it or custom mounted this spoiler? I'm curious because why else would it come up under rx8 wings?

raised the front, did some more rolling and a small pull in the back, it is no longer rubbing everything, time for an alignment. Some dude came up to me in the parking lot on base, told me he's been watching the car progress and he loves my build....... dude i put coilovers and wheels on it.
