Will 17x9 et30 245/40 or 235/40 fit?

Hey team, just looking for some help. I've searched for the specific offset but nothing conclusive. I have Stance coilovers going to lower about 2-2.5 inches on this setup 17x9 et30 245/40 or 235/40. I currently have no fender modification, will I rub or can I plug and play?
Thanks,

Stretch is apparently a relative term. I say it will be stretched. Some people will claim that a 205 on a 9" isn't stretched.

I don't see that size listed on the TireRack page. But at 245/35/18, the measured rim width is 8.5".

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....C5XL&tab=Specs

Given that you want to fit a narrower tire on a wider wheel, I'll say it's going to be stretched.

Currently running: 18x9.5+15 all around wrapped in 225/40/18

Looking for a "meatier" fitment. Any inputs welcomed.

@archwisp They are actually 5P's listed HERE as J8635621 mentioned. Looks like there might be a slight stretch, but it's also rated for 8-9.5" rims.

Seeing they are somewhat in the middle of the tolerable rage, will they be safe just for daily street use and occasional spirited driving?

I ran 245/40s on my 9.5s for a while. They were definitely stretched. I had grip problems but it was probably mostly attributable to a bent toe control arm.

They are probably safe to run but if you're buying new tires, I would try to match them up.

So while getting the new wheels installed I discovered that I had a broken rear spring, so I had to do a bunch of suspension work. Ended up installing a set of Koni's with racing beat springs. so here are some pics of the final setup. With no rubbing on any corner and no fender roll. handles really well, I would say an overall bump in handling of around 20% to 30%, and the ride is still very tolerable, just a little bit stiffer than stock.

255/40/R18 tires, TSW 18x8.5 ET45, this for all 4 corners, non staggered

This. See my pictures a few pages back, I have 245/40/18's on 9.5" rims. Definitely a mild stretch. 255's don't have any visible stretch though; they look pretty much square with a 9.5" rim.

Stretch depends on more factors than just the stated size. The 235 or 245 is more of a guideline than an actual measurement.

I am running 255 40 r18s on 8.5" wheels and a +45 ofset and that is pretty much the limit without fender roll or lots of camber . I have less than 1 finger width of clearance in the back. And even less in the front with the wheels turned.

sorry, I am new to the wheel specs and understanding the best possible option. What would be a ideal specs fro a wheel? I don't mind if its aggressive. I am going more for show with the wheels just for now and I just wanted to know if either set would even fit with a slight roll of the fenders>....

Hi guys!

F/R: 18x9 +20

Tires on those rims would be:
Dunno... Stretch the 225/45 ? Or 235? What will do better?

I have an option for forged Rays Work Evo4 18x9 +20. Will it fit stock 2004 Japan market SP 4AT?

Should I have to roll fenders (looks like so...) or do something even more serious?

How it will affect handling? Generally a bad idea? That bad?)))

I am looking at buying the TE37SL for my RX8 R3 from Nengun.
Here are what they have in stock:
RAYS - TE37SL - Nengun Performance

Can anyone recommend me a decent 18" wheel and tyre combo?
Car is street driven and occasionally tracked. I'm not after hellaflush but drivability and decent looks.

My car is lowered 20mm on H & R Springs.

Thanks
