Wheel rubbing issue, old shocks?

Hey thanks for anyone who helps me with this but i just had my varrstoen es2 installed they are 18x9 +15. They look great but on the rear driversside when i go around a corner or hit the smallest bump in the road you can hear it rub. It slightly rubs on the passengers side but only around sharp corners. Could this just be from weak shocks? If so its like to go with coilover but cheaper ones? What about the tein basis for like $700 or the megan racing for $850? Thanks
