Question What wheels are compatabile with the tire pressure sensors?

For those of you with aftermarket wheels...what wheels are available that will allow me to install the tire pressure sensors with no modifications?

If you are running on new wheels with the sensors installed could you please post the make/mfgr/spec.s and maybe a pic?

Thanks

Bump.

And if you can't give a complete list, could someone please give a guess at what percent of aftermarket wheels will work?

I have used the following rims on my car with the sensors working just fine:

Volk CE28N
Volk LE28N
Volk GT-7

Thats all for me though. Maybe if enough people respond with what will and wont work, we can get a database together.

I will be receiving my winter wheels/tires from Tire Rack the 10th, according to UPS. They are arriving with the sensors installed. Pictures will be posted to "Aftermarket Rims" thread once I have them on the RX-8.

I'm getting the Mille Miglia HT3 wheels. Tire Rack now has the sensors and the formerly backordered mounting sleeve/nut. Their wheel database apparently lists whether the wheel will accept the sensor. But not sure if that tidbit is/will be on the web site. You may have to call to confirm.

Cool! I considered those wheels, but opted for the Kazera KZ-Vs, instead.

Post pics once you have them installed. I'd like to see those wheels on the RX-8!

What did they charge you for the sensors?

Put on the Mille Miglia HT3 17" wheels (carbon grey) and Blizzack LM22 snow tires today. The sensors are present and functioning. At least the warning light has not come on TPM sensors were $99 each plus $5 each for the mounting sleeve/nut from Tire Rack. $416 to turn off a light bulb :D

Also got the 10000 mile service today.
