ok..some of ya'll know that my tires are bald and i'm in dire need of new ones..i kept putting it off until i realized, "wow...i have 10% tread left..maybe i should get new tires.." so i did..
My mom wanted to pay for them, but being me, i wouldn't let her. i saved up the money to order 2 and i got These because i heard they were good...and a friend had them and loved them so i had no problem getting them.
about 3 weeks later, i went to order the 2nd two...and they were out of stock. They said it'd be for 4 weeks...so, i waited 4 weeks and then was told it wouldn't be until the end of may. Well, living in fla,it's already started to rain a lot here and my car is a HUGE fan of hydroplaining now...
I looked around and couldn't find the nitto's anywhere...then i rememberd the tires i REALLY wanted. So now i have mis-matched tires...but these are the other ones i just ordered...my new these
So the KDW are going on the back, and the nittos on the front...yay for mis-matched tires. BUT at least i wont be hydroplaining anymore! yayayayayayay!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

Don't worry too much about the front-rear match. On my 8, I currently have the stock dunlops on the front, and Bridgestone REO40's on the rear. Dramatically different tires (Bridgestone's are far softer), but totally easy to drive on. I'd just reccomend putting the tires with the most grip on the rear to ensure understeer at the limit. Definitely post up if you get the KDW2's. I'd love to hear how they do!
kind sir...your car came stock with dunlops? how odd....i had the shitty *** potenza's on mine stock.
They ARE the KDW2's...and they're going on the rear. The tires have the same tread wear and all, but the KDW2's are a little softer. But somehow, the same tread wear. oh well...I shall let you know how much i love them/hate them in the next week!
Got the KDW 2 or as Goodrich refers to them, KDW NT which stands for New Tread design. I have 390 miles on them and I'm very happy with them so far. Remember if you get them to follow the break-in procedure recommended by Goodrich for the first 500 miles. They are quieter than stock, run just fine on the grooved concrete freeways of southern California. Once i get them broken in properly I'll see how they handle.
