Shaking car

Whenever my 8 comes to a gradual stop, my car begins to shake and my stop is not smooth at all. Anyone know if i need to change the brakes to fix this problem or could be something else. Appreciate the help.

You can try sanding the rotors to see if there is any residue brake material on them. Then bed in the brakes.

Most likely the rotors are warped.

90% chance you need new rotors. There isn't a lot of material left to turn the modern rotors.

Buy some aftermarket rotors and install them with a new brake pad.

Try Porterfield Brakes.

had the same problem a few months back. my rotors were warped, so whenever i braked i would feel a vibration. you could try resurfacing them on a lathe machine; however first check the minimum width allowed for the rotor which is usually inscribed on the mounting point. if you're above that then it should be safe to reuse the rotors.
