Which Rims

Due to the fact that I am most probably going to replace my rims very soon after getting the car, I need some opinions on which of the following two rims to get. I cant decide between the Roja Formula 7 and the Axis Spiders. Keep in mind that my car is titanium, and I am deciding between two gunmetal rims so I can better match the body. Please vote on the poll, and write your opinion, and if anybody can do a photoshop of the two rims, that would be nice. (Btw, im getting 19" by 8 in either model and they both run for around 400$ per wheel and are both close to 20 pounds)

I think the Roja Formula 7 look alot cleaner and would go better with your car. So I say go with them.

IMHO you should stick with the factory 18's. those look like something a pimp would have. Thats just my opinion

First off, usually a pimp would stick with chromed out dubs, or some gold wire rims, but these are really clean racing rims. And the reason im not sticking with the factory 18 inchers, is that I feel that they dont fill out the wheel well, and they simply dont look that good with the titanium. But the titanium would look awesome with some gunmetal rims with a chrome lip, because it is not that common, and goes perfectly with the color of the car.

Yeah, I think you're right... that would look good. I like the 7s better, too, because they look cleaner, and they have more surface area to the spokes, so you can discern the color of them more.

But is that a two piece rim? I prefer the less busy look of a one piece rim... I don't like the screws around the outside.

Where's the "Hate 'em both" option? JK. I can never tell what they'll look like on the car, so were it me, I'd suck up to some photoshop guru and see if they can put them on a tit gray car.

Thumbs down

stick with the original wheels or find better looking wheels than those two. I think five spoke wheels are the best looking unless your going to really spend some money.....get BBS wheels..

None of the above! there are a lot of good looking wheels in that price range and neither of those are included. But it is your car and I think I would be the least offended by the spiders' the others' spokes are too plane and will never match the color of your car. I personally wouldn't do 19's either your tire selection gets cut drastically and the performance is usually worse too. And you still can't say you got dubs:p !!

Thumbs up

This is my first time responding to anything on the forum, but I have to say that I have spent alot of time looking for wheels for my new 8 and I have to agree that I do not like either choice. Why not wait for al little bit and check out some tire and wheel shops in the area, they will have an idea of what looks great on the car, but I really like the idea of the 19's.
