Hi all,

has anyone thought about doing this?

I too would be interested in getting my stock wheels chromed, the dealership where I bought my car had an 8 with chrome wheels. Anyone know how much this would cost?

having a rim dipped in chrome is expensive and takes a long time also.

It should cost around 150 to 200 per rim

why not have a place just take off the paint and polish the wheel? Maybe even put a clear coat...Chrome dipped wheels are always heavier. powder coating would be one of my choices if it does not add more weight.

pretty much any wheelshop will be able to do it. but they will need the wheels for at least a day.
