I was running Toyo T1-S 245/40/18 front and 275/35/18 rear with tread wear 280 as my first set of tires for my CE28N's. When they were worn out I switched to Toyo T1-R with tread wear rating of 280 which I have already been through two sets of them since yesterday. And damn they go bald quick! Quick meaning they only lasted me 1 year and 4 months without any track days, but some spirited mountain driving.

So yesterday I went to my local tire shop and was originally suppose to pick up a set of Nitto Invos, but after seeing the Bridgestone RE760 in person I fell in love with them. The RE760's have a tread wear rating of 340 and the tread pattern looked amazing! The price was a lot cheaper than the T1-R and about the same price as the Invo's which has the tread wear rating of 260 (I understand that every company has there own tread wear ratings compared to there own tire models, so can't really compare tread wear between brands).

I did a little research on Tirerack and G35, Subaru forum and people seem to have great experience with them. Tirerack shows that the RE760 did better than the Yokohama S. Drives. IMO for those of you who are looking for some good and affordable summer tires, these make a great option!

So far I have driven about 30 miles on them and they are extremely quiet compared to the T1-R's and IMO they perform just as good or maybe even better. I would have to break them in inorder to provide more feedback on them though. But so far I am very happy with them.

Anyways I took some sidewall pics of my old 245/40/18 T1-R to compare with my new 245/40/18 RE760. The RE760 came out wider than the T1-R with the same size. The RE760's sidewall sticks out more (offering more rim protection) and also seem to have more rubber contact to the ground than the T1-R (not exactly sure though).

Nice tire choice. I actually almost bought these for my street tires but went with the T1R's instead. I agree that the tread pattern is very good looking. Good luck. Hope you enjoy them.
