Eibach Pro Kit Problem

I installed lowering springs about 6 months ago with no problem. Just recently theres been a knocking noise from the front Left Wheel. Whenever Im going really slow or step on the brake. Anyone out there have the same problem. I did do a search on this problem but only found results on the rear doing a noise. Any suggestions. I brought the car to mazda and they told me its not the strut.

Check your sway bar link nuts. I had one coming loose and it sounded almost exactly like what you describe. It would pop whenever the sway bar got loaded up. You have to take these bolts out to put in springs or struts, so maybe it didn't get tight enough.

I had a similar problem, mine turned out to be loose lugs on the rear left wheel.

Hasn't there been an issue with lower control arm bushings on our front suspension? Might be another thing to check.

i pretty much took it to mazda just to look at it and i really dont think they even put it on the lift. Cause when they got the car the front tires had brake dust all over it and it didn't even look like they took the wheels off. and plus they didn't even have the key but there could be a master one.

well i don't think is a problem with the spring itself, i have had mine for 2 years and no problems here (i have eibach also) so like the other guys have told you check and re-tight everything again something has to be loss

i tend to agree here. i've had mine a year with no problems at all. there was a recall in the front lower arm ball joint. you can look at that and other TSB's on the 8 here:
