But im curious about the fitment

Does anyone know if a 18x8 +48 will fit in the rx8?

^ that would work fine. You could go even lower with the offsets if your looking for a flush appearance.

unless u had lowered ur car too much, otherwise u shouldnt have any problems running 245 or 255

i have lowered my car by about a inch or so, max would be 2inch, but front is more lowered then back

^ he may need a 30 profile for a 19" rim. 275/265x35 profile is typically for an 18x9.5 rim.

18x9.5 +38 is a perfect offset for rear flush-ness, but the fronts stick out a bit (hence some go staggered fitment).

I'm running +38 with a 265 all around and my front is flush huey

It's dependent on ride height and camber. I'm at 9.5+33 in the front and it's not flush anymore. It definitely isn't flush in the rear. When I was on MS springs though, the +38 was pretty much perfect in the front and +33 was really close in the rear.

I'm running RP03 18x9.5 +38 with 265x35 all around and my fronts look like they stick out from flush just a bit, with rears perfect flush. But could be my ol' college-era carpenter's eyes.

I'll live with it tho' as I don't like staggered for rotation inability reason.

edit: I'm at stock suspension height and I gauge flush-ness by top dead center of fender exterior.

That sounds just about right. Now if you get springs, you can just get 5mm spacers for the rear and be flush all around with the ability to rotate tires.

Getting Bridgestone RE050A 255/35/19

Ok called a tyre place
I ended up getting Bridgestone Adrenaline 245/35/19 for 425 aud per corner, with the 255/35/19 i was looking at 900 per corner.... crazy...

OIC- Im running Stance coilovers with a nice drop. the negative camber in the front must being responsible for the flush look that I have.

I also judge the "flushness" by top dead center of the fender.
