turn signals problem

ok,

got an offer to run sebring at the last minute.. in car prep. have not driven the car since last nov.. found exhast leak. fixed.

but no turn signals. not a track issue, but i am one of the few that use them to change lanes, go figure..

turn sigs do not work..

hazards work fine and all bulbs light up in the on pos with engine not running.. with engine running they flash fast once then lock.

the other odd thing which i think might be a clue.. when i hit the lock car on my fob. only the lights on the right side or pass side flash..

i put new bulbs in the drivers side to test. but they all work in the hazard pos..

the only thing i found odd was i had a dead led as a running light.. replaced it, and reset ecu..

any ideas. have to button up car tomorrow.. have all the areas open to fix the issue, i think..

and if someone says search bitch and gives a link. i am thinking 20 bucks.. have not been here a lot lately.. but i do think i am on top of most things..

bad flasher?

thanks

beers

Scott.............my only guess at this point is exactly that...........a bad flasher control module based on everything you wrote.
I guess it's possible that the connector(F1-01) is not seated correctly, but hard to imagine based on all your debug to this point.
Running light should have had nothing to do with it at all..............electrically.

When you put new bulbs in both the front and the rear on the left side, you said the hazards work.........is this now with the engine off and on? Where before it was working with engine off, but when engine on, they would only flash once?

before the hazards would flash real fast with the car running.. never tried with the car off.

now flash normal with car off, normal with car in the on postion. but flash once and stop with the car running.. btw, the bulb i took out was fine.. i tried in in a different socket..

and it is odd that only the right side flashes when you set the alarm.. looks like i have to call in a favor from a master tech!

good news is exhaust gasket is fixed. car is track prepped!

^......damn it......why didn't I think of that!

I actually considered it could be the blinker switch itself, but not likely after all that he wrote!

the switch in the neutral pos. would have no effect on the right side on lock or unlock.. or change the flasher rate..

this is odd obscure issue for 1million alex!
