Thumbs down Terrible ceramic brake squeal only 5k old

Ok so I did some searching and I found that the brake pads I have are well not good Wagner thermo quiets are as quiet as Micheal Jackson dying. It seems to have gotten worse now that its colder here in Washington. Not only do I get some squeal while initially slowing down I now get a loud squeal stopping from 4mph and down its terrible and makes me want to punch babies. So question is since these brake pads are less then 5k old what should I do? Also these were all replaced at the same time with lube put in appropriate places.

Only reason I bought them was because it was the only ceramic brake pad the auto parts stores where I lived had front and rear in stock.

I have hawk ceramics from tirerack.com and never had them squeal, plus i have about 20k miles on them. Did you bed them correctly after first installing them?

Check out this information. It is a great read, and might help answer your issue. I would suggest re-bedding them, since even if you bedded them in the first place, they may have been un-bedded through light use.

If you have time, dig through all of their articles, they have some really great stuff about brakes.

Hawk Ceramics myself and near silent and very low dust. Be sure to bed-in (aka burnish) your pads properly no matter which you choose.

Did you use the bake squeal goop on the back side of the pads?

Read this whole article and watch the video. I bet re-bedding will solve your problem.
