Temperature Sensor on Turbo

Quick Question.

Is there a "new" location for the Temp Sensor when your turbo, because I had to unplug it to fit my intercooler and now it doesent fit in the location where it was origionally.
Does it matter where it is pointing to?
I dont think it is now reading the temperature acuratly (Not unless it was 87 Degrees outside last night here in LA)

Has anybody come across this problem?

thanks

Sure, just splice it and move it near the front.

It depends what you want to read...... engine bay temp or out side temp.

hehe. I plugged it in randomly and it's picking up hot air from the oil cooler. It's reading 100 when it's 80 outside.
