well i searched high and low and couldn't find a thing. Here's my prob: I haven't driven the car in 3 days(its been sitting in my driveway.) after warming up the car for about 5 minutes i proceeded to work and i heard a high pinch squeal comin from outside the car(windows were up.) after lowering the window i noticed it was loud as hell comin from the rear driver side tire. it was cold as hell out and it sounded exactly like there wasn't a brake pad there, just metal on metal sound. and it was a rotating sound that sped up and i accelerated the car. but suddenly after driving the car for a good 15 minutes more and accelarated and braking harshly, it went away. Any ideas????? do the brakes really need to be THAT warmed up after 3 days in the cold??? as of now it sounds completely fine.

 

Might have had a small stone under the pad. Is the disc scored? Check the inside and the outside of the disc.
