Stock low mileage Bilsteins blown?

The car has 30k miles, had the stock until recently so should have been driven relatively gentle. Stock 40ae Bilsteins.
What do you guys think about this? I find it strange that Bilsteins would be blown at such low mileage.

It can happen. There isn't a single part of the car that is immune to the possiblity of factory defect or failure.

I thought these cars sit with a little less wheel gap in the rear naturally, but here is a pic to clarify.

Looks okay to me, maybe slightly lower but it is not loaded. When my shocks failed, it sagged big time (I have a thread somewhere with pics) with even my little daughter in the car. I thought it was springs but I had Tein USA test them and they were good. I replaced the shocks with new ones (KYB) and the problem was fixed. This is fairly common, I have seen it happen a few times with Tokico D specs and Koni yellows that were almost new.

Have someone sit in the back seat and see if the rear tires tuck, if so and they don't weigh 300lbs then your shocks are likely toast.
