Starting Issue

For about two years I have been having a starting issue with my 04' 6spd rx8 and it's now got to the point of where if I shut the car off I have to wait about 10+ minutes before trying to start it back up, basically praying I don't stall out somewhere lol... I recorded a video of me trying to start it back up 10minutes after a 15 minute ride. The battery was bought over the summer. Could it be plugs? Fuel pump? They're about 3 years old (only 42k miles on odometer, not driven too much & small town life). The Esmeril ignition coils are about 4yrs old. Im taking the car to mazda in a few weeks until then I'll keep driving my other vehicle, but I was just curious what it sounded like to you guys. Also the CEL is the secondary air injection code.

Thanks!

Low compression, get a compression test at a dealer.

Unable to start when hot is either fuel pump or compression failure in 99% of the cases. The difference between them is how the engine turns off. If it shuts itself off abruptly in gear under load, like driving on the highway, it's the fuel pump. If you turn it off or it dies slowly at idle, it's compression.

It idles fine. Definitely hope its not compression, especially only at 42k miles.

I had two engines that lasted less than 42k. Get it tested.

Wow, I'll have them check the compression when I take it to Mazda.
