(Searching for hours) Car still Shaking(idle)
hello, so i change the ignition coils, sparks plugs, ignition wire couple months ago. Finally save up enough money for engine mounts. Did them this morning but still shake(idle).
NO CEL is on.
Been having real shitty luck, hate that it pass on to my 8.
2005 about 73k on the engine
thanks in advance bm

I'll try a 3rd way of asking the question:
Your car is supposed to idle at 850rpm. When the shaking exists, is it holding at 850rpm? Or is it fluctuating even slightly? Or is it at some other rpm?

So the shaking of the car is not the engine itself changing speed.
The only other option left is that the shaking of the car is from the natural vibration of the engine being transmitted to the chassis.
I.e, motor mounts. If you have new mounts in there, are you sure they were installed correctly?

Yeah, standard diagnostics fee runs from $79 to $110ish based on the dealer.
I'm pondering other methods for the idle vibrations to get through to the chassis, and coming up empty.

Are we missing some more information here? Based on one of your older threads you mention that even though you changed your coils/plugs/wires/etc that you got misfires?
