Seafoam and now I have P0335 and P0107 codes

Hi,

I have a 2006 with 27K miles. I've been premixing but had indications of too much carbon. I've been adding 8-10oz of premix per gallon. My exhaust was sounding louder and cold starts takes a bit longer. The symptons started showing up the past month. I did some research and decided to use seafoam, which I did today.

Now I have a CEL: P0335 and P0107 codes. The P0335 code seems like my cat is bad. Not sure what the P0107 is. I attempted to reset the ecu by removing the room fuse (for a few seconds) and the CEL is still there. I tried pumping my brakes 20 times and the CEL is still there.

After the seafoam the car is running a lot better but the codes have me concerned. Any help is appreciated, thanks

I did a quick search. It's an o2 sensor isn't it? I did seafoam via vacuum line. After a few starts and driving around some more the CEL is gone. I'm relieved because I'm going for a long drive tomorrow :-)

OR ap0355

I just recently got a po355 and ap0172 code which is eccentric cam position and bank one rich code. Looked on the shops computer and it said something about cam position sensor and maf sensor correlation so I pulled my intake and tested my maf and cleaned it. Then tested my coil output to see if they were causing the rich condition. They tested good but when I pulls the plugs they were super coated and one trailing plug had the gap fully closed just about. So I cleaned them put them back in and reset the codes test drove and neither has came back and it has been a couple days now.

you should clean the Eccentric Shaft Position sensor (ESS, or crank sensor) they get dirty and then you should do the NVRAM reset.
