Rubber Isolator

Tein Basic Coilover:

I have a bit of a fish tail type of feel when driving from the rear obviously.

  • Could not having a "rubber isolator"(springs sit on etc) cause this type of movement?
  • Could my swaybars and or end-links be the issue?
  • What about control arms/rods?
  • Has anyone else dealt with this issue before?
Thanks for any sort of advice
-Brandon

check your tire pressure (low pressure creates the same feeling)
inspect everything is fastened properly (play in control arms or shock mounts)
check the 4 wheel alignment via laser (probibly not driving stright giving the fishtail feeling)
the swaybars and isolator are most likely not the problem

Tire pressure has not been checked for sometime now, so I will check it. I'll get it on a lift and check all suspension components. I got a 4 wheel alignment back in August but I guess I'll go or another one or at least check on the machine's computer to see if it's really that bad. I figured that you did not need the rubber isolator but wanted to make sure but was later told otherwise lol. I don't think its my sway bars either because when I installed them, they were then inspected by tons of people lol. Thanks for the advice.
