Hi, my keyless system is acting up and now I can't use any of the outside buttons on my 07 RX8. I've read all the threads here concerning the red KEY light on the dash which I have on solid now.

The car starts fine and I can use all the buttons on the credit card remote to activate and open anything. Just the buttons don't work.

I have already cleaned the connector on the rear bumper antenna and still it doesn't work. Something interesting to note is that with every battery reset (remove and put back terminal), all the exterior buttons will work for 5 minutes. Starting the car yields no key light, but after the 5 minutes, everything goes back to the way it was before. RED KEY light on solid, exterior buttons don't work.

Even the trunk button works on the bumper, which lead me to believe the exterior antennas are ok. Is this a logical conclusion or could be something else?

Anyways, so I'm aware that I should have some BODY "B prefix" DTC codes in the system. I have a scangauge and it only reads P codes and I cannot find anything else.

Does anyone know how B codes can be read?
