Rattling (buzzing) from rear view mirror and steering wheel
I've had this problem forever it seems like. There is a very annoying buzz like rattle coming from my rear view mirror. I managed to get it to stop by putting a hair tie on it and completely forgot about it. Well, recently the tie came off... and now I'm dealing with the rattling again.
Does anyone else have this problem? and a solution?
I also get a rattling from the steering wheel. It comes from right around the section where the volume controls are. I clip the part off and back on and it stop sometimes... but comes back after a while.
Thanks in advance for anyone who can help!!

I actually did come across that thread when searching for rattling solutions. Didnt see anything about my issues.... but, I'll look again.
In the mean time... if anyone can help, I'd really appreciate it.

If you hear a rattle from behind the steering wheel (airbag cover), it's likely due to the airbag connector (or something like that). There was a TSB once upon a time about that. I had the problem with my '04 years ago and the dealer fixed it under warranty. If it's coming from a different place, then it's not this
Anyhow, a good way to tell if it's the problem I'm referring to is to put pressure on the airbag cover while you're driving (right on the Mazda emblem), if the rattling goes away, then it's likely the problem.
I don't have any advice on the rear view mirror. Good luck
