Power Steering

I just recently lowered my car and put a turbo kit on it(same time). and then went for a drive. About a week later my power steering went out as i was driving. I stopped and cycled the ignition and it worked. Drove for another day it did the same thing except this time cycling the ignition did not stop it. So i parked it and went inside my out to eat and came back out later and started it and it worked again. Lately it wont work 90percent of the time. Any ideas why my powersteering chooses went to work?

did you do any cooling upgrades?

Hot coolant spilling out the relief tube onto the power steering rack electrical connectors is pretty common.

The electrical connectors, for the power steering, are located under where the OEM air box is/was. Disconnect and reconnect these to make certain they have a good connection.

Check both the battery posts too - the slightest interuption in power will cause the steering to go 'hands off' to prevent turning inappropriately.

If you see what I mean......
