Parasitic drain on ACC fuse..
I have between 1 to 1.5 amp drain on ACC fuse when the car is completely off.. my wiring is far from stock but did anyone have similar issue with constant battery drain? Just wanted to know where I need to check specifically since acc powers pretty much the entire interior. I had my audio head unit completely disconnected when I checked for the parasitic drain. Thanks in advance.

I realize it is much higher than it should be. It drains entire battery in 1 to 2 days. I was just curious whether there is any known component thatwhen commonly damaged would draw around 1 amp... I can't localize it any further without taking dash down..

does anything particular come to mind? I don't mind tracking it down when I have some time, but I want to avoid having to take the entire dash out if I could help it things I read are pretty random.. some say burnt out light bulbs can cause draw which doesn't make much sense to me. My alternator regulator is fine.. well any help would be much appreciated! thank you.

Don't think there is anything normal with that kind of draw with the key off. I have seen a number of AFR installs where the O2 heater stays powered up with the key off.....
It's easy to check...just unplug the fuse or plug to the guage wiring and see if the draw goes away..
I would start with aftermarket stuff first....and then look for OEM issues later if the draw is still there. Maybe a stuck relay?

found it. It was the sidemarker harness that I left unconnected which was scraping against the tire. It shorted out the wires. After I fixed it, the parasitic draw is now in the 200mah which is still high but manageable. Thank you.
Disconnecting aem wideband didn't make much difference for me.
