here's the story .. i was removing my gas cover when i realized , one screw is missing ...i believe it went down the fuel hole.....WHAT SHOULD I DO ? is it gonna clog the fuel ? internal damage ?

is there anyway to CHECK / REMOVE the screw in the fuel tank ?

It's not going to do anything......except swim in fuel

Won't get into the pump ....or likely cause any problems

If you are really freaked...remove the fuel pump and it will likely be on the floor of the fuel tank somewhere...

Magnet
It shouldn't do any damage if it was left in.

So it should be fine right ? i was just afraid that its gonna be clogging the fuel causing the fuel to be cut...

i thought of it and google forums says to use it too...but then i figured , where do i find a magnet long enough to go in , and search the floor of the tank & how am i going to magnet-drag it all the way back to the top of the fuel hole entrance

thanks for the reply...IF anyone out there HAD experience the same thing, and HAD problems acured , let me know .....im paranoid enough to send it to the shop to open the tank...

They have these telescoping magnetic tools....they look exactly like the extendable antenna on those old kid's walkie talkies. I forget where I got mine, but any auto parts store should have them...the engine compartment seems to be a popular place to drop screws and bolts.

Well I did it this morning. The little plastic extension for my premix syringe fell into my tank this morning as well! Super awesome feeling! Its essentially the same plastic as a typical funnel extension hose for filling transmissions or that sort of thing (2-3" tube). Think I should be OK letting the little guy float around in there for the rest of its life? let me know what you think. Thanks People.
