So, I admit, I let poor Rex sit for the last 5-6weeks while the weather wasn't the greatest and i was travelling for business. I went to start it when spring finally returned and got dash lights but no turn over at all - D'oh, my fault. So I charged the battery and thought all would be normal. Tried to start it today and got dash lights and just a "clicking" sound from under the hood -no engine turn over. Then things got interestings - a bunch of dash lights flashed (Tire pressure, headlight motor, steering wheel) and the gauges pegged low to high a few times. So, I backed slowly away and thought i'd ask others far more knowledgeable. Its an 05MT, only 15k mi and never flooded. Is it just new battery time or is there something else going on?

Resolved - the hoofbeats were horses not zebras. Battery was only pushing 6.3V so - new battery, started right up, did the DSC routine - all is well
