Need Help please!!

My friend's Rx8 just change full amuse exhaust system..(Header to exhaust tube).. After installation, the 8 becomes lack of power compare to stock. What happen? His 8 is manual n pre facelift model...Desperately need inputs from all seniors here. Thx

So you replaced the header, the midpipe (cat), and entire rear section? Did you block off the air pump?

Any 'check engine' lights on?

Could be damage to the primary O2 sensor (the one on top of the header.)

@9krpmrx8: Nothing done to the car yet.. only installing the exhaust systems only...

@StealthTL: I will check w/ him soon whether there is any Cehck engine lights illuminating...

Are all sensors still being used? Check everthing then reset PCM.

No CEL at all...
everything's fine.. except for the lack of power.....
