Need help! CPP switch

Hi
So Ive been having clutch issues for a bit now and have made some headway but not with the CPP{clutch pedal position switch}
I cant find any information on this beside where to get a new one.
Before I spend the money Id like to know if anyone has had this symptom before and what/how they fixed the problem.
If the switch is engaged by the pedal, first and second accelerate fine right until the pedal engages the switch,at that point the car feels like youre riding the clutch and at slower speeds will bounce a bit like you're riding the clutch.
If you drive without engaging the switch first and second are awesome.
Now this is also true for forth fith and sixth, except in reverse, meaning the CPP switch must be engaged for them to work properly.

I started chasing this problem as if there was air,so I bleed and re bleed.
The switch works,my pedal is reenforced, lots of bleeding and flushing but I cant get the CPP to work in all six gears.
Someone know anything about this or had this problem?

Doesn't sound like it has anything to do with the switch?....sounds more like a clutch problem

What exactly makes you think it is electrical??

Thanks for the reply.
The reason Im thinking its electrical is. If I take the switch (cpp) in my hand while driving and start in first with the switch un engaged,my clutch engagement is great, once I depress the switch(while driving) the car bogs, like Im ridding the clutch.
If im on the freeway(switch in hand)and have reached fith or sixth (without depressing the switch)it feels like Im riding the clutch(the switch has been left alone at this point and acceleration has been good until fith and six) unless I depress the switch at which point fith and sixth are good.
I hope thats clear,so the switch is supposed to be engaged on release of the clutch pedal,so why wont it work for all my gears.
Im not sure if the install of the clutch was done right but It seams to have been. The clutch grabs all gears no sliping,Ive tried adjusting the pedal bleeding the system.
An MX5 fourm is where I got the idea the remove the green stopper on the pedal the cpp uses,at which point I found it worked for 1-2

So is your clutch engagement changing when you depress/ don't depress the switch? Or is the car bogging or missing ? The switch will not effect the engagement ( mechanical) of the clutch at all.....

The engine could get confused if the switch is not in the clutch off position... and possible effect the output of the motor...but there is no way that switch does anything to the actual clutch mechanism. What happens if the switch is left closed all the time?

Hum...ok I think youve got somthing.
What happens is,the engine output changes, leaving me thinking its not fully engaged.
If I leave it alone, first and seconed feel like there boging and it can studder at low acceleration requiring me to depress the clutch slightly.

So When the switch is engaged(closed)in first what Im perciving as bog or bad engagment, maybe is just fine, but I go-ahead and open the switch(release) the motor output changes. Same in fith six but reverse
So how do I fix this,The change is,really its awesome, theres a huge acceleration increase without the switch closed in first and seconed.
Would setting the pedal up then clearing memory help?

I think you need to fix the switch

Then if you are still having issues....try and figure out what is happening. The should be no performance improvement from this switch. It just lets the PCM know the clutch is depressed...and possibly tells it what gear it is in?? ( I guess it could have something to do with it switching to the different gear maps if the PCM keeps track of it with the ESS and RPM it uses for the gear determination)

Thanks a lot for your time.
The fact that there is a performance gain without the switch is whats been keeping me up late. Lol
Im going to replace the switch and go from there.

The programing part of this car im not educated in at all yet.
I do know a new flash and slave and master where all installed while the clutch was bad and slipping by the former owner. Anyway, thanks again.
