Question Need Help...Car Starting problems

So i have an 04 sport rx8 and i am having problems with starting the car.... i turn the key...and it takesa while for it to catch or whatever and start the car....is this due to a faulty starter? or what exactly is the problem?
car has 60,000 miles on it. im 3rd owner as of 2 months ago

There was a "TSB" that gave you a new battery and a faster turning starter motor. Call your local dealer or Mazda America(with your VIN#) and see if your was done.

Might also try new coils, I had a bad start issue at one point where my car took a good 5 seconds to catch, new coils made it a second.

At 60k you are definitely due for new coils unless you know they have been changed within the last 30,000.
