well, after my tranny failed for the third time, i noticed that each time i took it out and put it back in, that the large beam that connects it to the diff hangs lower and lower. now, it sits on top of the cross mebers which causes loud rattleing as you can imagine.

does this mean i have either/both bad engine and diff mounts? cant think of anything else that can cause this.

Well you are talking about the power plant frame right?(goes from tranny to diff) If it is hitting those brackets than you definetly have a bad mount somewhere. It could be both or one. You have to check them out. You have ne pics of your mounts or did you check them?

you likely have a bad motor mount, and the ppf was not adjusted properly. which is more than likely why the transmission failed...

yup, sounds like the mount must be toast.

swoope FTW, maladjusted PPF is probably why the trans keeps failing.

You need to bolt on the recessed side bolt to the diff from the PPF first to locate it properly.
