Is my E-brake working properly?
Did a search and found nothing. My e-brake seems REALLY soft. Reason this became a concern is due to my attempting a drift the other day in an open lot and being unable to brake the rear out with e-brake. I then began to wonder if they were working properly or not so i started doing test "runs" at about 10mph and just got a slow progressive stop when ripping the e-brake. Isnt it suppose to brake alot harder than that? I changed the pads a couple weeks ago and thought maybe that had to do with it but i dont know. I checked the e-brake assembly on the rear and it looks fine. Any Thoughts?

^^Thats what i thought but i had never attempted to do a full rip before while in motion and wasnt sure how hard it was suppose to brake. I have SS lines coming soon and i will have to go in and check/clean everything and bleed out the lines. I cant think of any other reason they wouldnt work properly other than something to do with the assembly itself.

Did you get the rotors resurfaced when you changed the pads? If not, the pads may not have yet worn to the rotors' profile. When you say the the "ebrake is soft", do you mean it feels spongy, or just that it doesn't grab like it should? Is the lever reaching the end of its travel without much force?

When i say soft i mean it just isnt grabbing like it should. Even though the pads may not be totally mated to the rotors, i would think it still would grab alot harder. Im gonna get in there this weekend and clean everything and re-assemble everything and look into adjusting it.
