Well, I bought my 8 November of 07 (used with 49K miles) and for the first two months it was a blast and then came the problems.

1. (Janurary) Clutch - My clutch burnt completely out with really no sign of slipage. Replaced the clutch with an ACT kit.

2. (March) Cracked 3 wheels - Ok, so I'm driving down 378 in Sumter, SC and out of no where this dog starts heading straight for my car. Instead of hitting it (too nice for that) I swirve and take a dump on and over a curb. No other damge done to the car except for the wheels and tires (I don't know how, guess I got lucky). Purchased aftermarket wheels and tires.

3. (July) Master slave cylinder and clutch solenoid - Car got to the point where it wouldn't go into to gear and changing gears was hard. Had the car towed to a dealership and found out that they were both gone. Had those replaced along with the reflash, emmissions recall and 2 new trailing spark plugs.

4. (September) Clutch pedal - so I'm driving down Little Creek here in Norfolk, VA doing a little under the speed limit (30 mph) and I go to change from 2nd to 3rd and all of a sudden (THUNK) 3rd grinds and my clutch pedal moves very freely from left to right. Obviously clucth pedal bracket - so I manage to coast into a Wendy's parking lot and had it towed back to the Mazda dealership that fixed the previous issues in July. Still awaiting an estimate on how much this is going to cost.

So from the time I bought it until now - 2600 dollars (excluding this new issue) and only 10 months into ownership, why should I keep this ******? I love it to death but I feel like it's been in the shop more than it's been on the street and it's costing me more than gas, oil, and premix!!!
