Hi Everybody,

I have a problem on my MAzda rx8 '04 model and was wondering if anyone had similar experience or could advise on the problem. I was starting the engine this morning and it was on idle for about a minute or so. I then decided to drive off with my windows down. Shifted to gear 1, let off hand brake, and stepped lightly on my gas pedal. The car moved off a little and then there is this loud noise. It sounded like something had snapped or broken.

ABS self test perhaps

abs self test is like a loud thump or rather sound like a bass of the speakers right? This noise sounds metallic, like over-stretching a metal until it snaps. I understand that i should go to the mechanic but just wanted to see if anybody had same experience or know whats wrong. kinda worried.
