Lean cel and ap problem?

Im having a few problems with the car and am looking for help.

only engine mod is turbo xs catback

I keep getting the following codes

P2096 Target A/F Feedback too lean
P0442 Evaporative Emission Control System Leak Detected

last time I had 2096 I replaced the fuel pump and the code disappeared for about 6 months then now its back

Top end feels like its lacking about 4000 rpm and up... but may be because of riding my bike more this summer
There is a raspy sound at about 5000 rpm all the way through redline, but only sometimes.

a/f ratios while logging with ap look fine to me, but I am not experienced in this if anybody would care to look at this for me maybe you can tell me if my injectors are crap or something along that lines it would be really helpful.
and should throttle position go over 66%? even with 99% accel pos?

Thank you in advanced

it could be couple of things, lemme ask you, how old is ur O2 Sensor. it love to give weird readings when it's About to self-destruct.

and what fuel pump did u get? another Mazda? or some aftermarket.

as for P0442, replace the fuel cap should be fine.

max acce position I think is 83? I don't remember off my head right now.

its a stock fuel pump just a new one

I have never replaced the O2 sensor before the cat (i'm assuming that's the one your talking about) is there a test I can do on it with a ohm meter or something like that? autozone wanted $300 for that sensor. precat o2 sensor is the one that talks to the ecu right?

And the lean code only happens while cruising I think its called closed loop??? (tell me if i'm wrong, using o2 sensor not maf?)

(although I don't know the target A/F) when i'm looking at the AP its actually running kinda rich about 13:1 when im crusing with cruise control then if I get on the throttle it leans back out to around 14:1 then gets richer eventually to 10.8:1 the higher it revs .. I will log next time i'm on the freeway since it usually comes on then and after its been running a while.

leanest I have seen is 15.5:1 for short bursts but never WOT. then of course maxes out the sensor at 20:1 when throttle is completely lifted and still in gear

for the lean code, it could be a few things, it might be good to look for vacuum leaks really quickly.

it could also be the Air Flow Meter, as long as you can look at data from the engine, you should see if the idle reading is right, and the WOT reading is right.

my friends truck (same AFM) threw this code, and we put the laptop on it, and everything looked ok, but it turned out that the AFM was lazy, so while you could open the throttle and airflow went up, it wasn't reading correctly. cleaning it did nothing.

could be the o2 also, so instead of throwing expensive parts at the car it would be better to open the hood and look around.
