I was under the impression that the instrument panel was supposed to be blue before your turn the car on, white on black during the day and then red on black at night.

When I get in I get some nice blue and its very pretty. When I turn the car on the white on black shows up but never any red. It didn't really bother me until I saw a picture of someone's dash and now I kind of want to see the red. Is there some trick or is my dash just messed up?

When the headlights are on and the display is still white, the dimmer dial is all the way up. Turn the dial down just patch the "notch" part, and it will change to red on blue. That notch is what separates the color schemes. Going further down will dim the brightness of the red when the lights are on.

FYI: Dimmer is by the DSC button on your left.

Figured it'd be something like that. I think I already tried it but I'm not positive that the lights were on when I did, let you know tomorrow.
