Unhappy Ignition Coils not the issue...?

04' a/t

checked 2 ignition coils and found that 2 of the 4 (2nd and 4th one) werent getting any power/spark.

i ordered 2 new ones and installed those. pretty sure i got the wires to the right coils and everything.

hoping that was it, i tried to start my 8.

still no start. just plain cranking. charged battery and checked all lights and everything was fine. not the battery and not the ignition coils.

what could this be? please help asap. spark plugs? wires?

i think it be best if you change out all 4 plugs and all 4 coils at the same time, im pretty sure all spark plugs and coils are already gone...when was the last time you replaced em all?

What do your spark plugs look like? also you might want to get the compression tested.

Believe it or not new coils, wires, and plugs don't cure the common cold either so your first goal on this forum is to figure who you should listen to and who are the spastic Polly want a cracker ret@rds.

Based on the info provided your engine is either flooded and/or has low compression. Since it's an AT which have always been notoriously susceptible to low compression rotary engine issues you may want to start there first.

Thank you everybody for the advice. Teamrx8, im still new to here so im still figuring out whos words have credibility.

but one question, someone said the PCM doesnt spark the trailing coils during crank?

PCM?
and why not? i cant wrap my head around why they would be there and not used for cranking. Whats the use of the trailing ignition coils if they dont produce spark?

also, im in south florida. anyone in the U.S. who would be willing to offer some expert advice over the phone, that would be great. i can call whenever just so i can start figuring all this out clearly.
