I've been having problems 2 days ago. I tried to start it but it idles really weird, and I've been having fuel smells. I started it and tried to move but it barely moved and it died. Waited for about 5 min started back up again, the idles drop after 2 min and it dies again. The check engine light flashed. It's weird because i never had a problem like this. I had a friend scan it and the codes came up to be P0037, and P0301. I looked the codes up on the forums, but I decided to take it to the local shop. The mechanic changed the ignition coils, spark plugs and the 02 sensor located on the cat. He called me and took it out for a test drive and he said the car is still not running good. He said it Idles bad still and that i need a new motor, I'm picking the car up tomorrow, any one have any ideas i should do?

He probably doesn't know about the ECU and the learning curve.

You have to drive it a few cycles before the car learns the fuel trims and idles.

Alot of times, the won't idle and will die at a stop sign.
Afew drive cycles and she purrs like a kitten.

I hope this is your problem.

Thx alot Razz1 I just got the car back and it did what you said, I gave it gas but it started to run a little funny, and after 3 min the car started to drive normally again
