Exclamation help..several problems..possibly connected???

ok so lately ive been experiencing a grinding noise that many other people have..it seems to be 10 times worse if its hot outside and starts around 4k rpm..i have an 04 automatic with just over 51k...

also it seems to be acting very sluggish occasionally when accelerating..i tried going from a 55 to a 65 mph speed zone and it felt like i was trying to take off from the highest gear even though i shifted down with the paddle shift.

i was wondering if these problems were connected in any way. also i have aftermarket catback exhaust and cold air intake..would that void my warranty in any way?

any help is greatly appreciated
